Optional sightseeing tours will be organized after the conference, which will make a series of daily visit to different suburbs of Tokyo each day. Following the tours, 5-day trip (including 3-day mokuhanga workshop) to MI-LAB, a noted mokuhanga’s residency nearby Lake Kawaguchi will be organized. Kamakura 1-Day Tour

Visit to Hase no Daibutsu, Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu Shrine, Hokoku-ji, Sugimoto-dera Temple, Komachi-dori
Transportation: Train (1 hour 30minutes for one way)

Nikko or Hakone 1-Day Tour
Sep. 16 (Tue),
Visit to Nikko Tosho-gu Shrine and other areas / Ride Hakone Tozan Tesudo-line and Cable-car, visit to Ashinoko Lake, may dip in Onsen before returning to Tokyo

Ogawamachi, Saitama 1-Day Tour
Sep. 17 (Wed)
Visit to Ogawa-machi, Saitama for Tesuki, handmade papermaker’s and Japanese bookbinder’s studios, and hands-on experience.

19 (Sat) Trip to Mt.Fuji 5th Station, Oshino Hakkai, Koyo Okada Photograph and Ehagaki Museum, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum
20 (Sun) – 22 (Tue) 3-day mokuhanga workshop. (Sayonara party is planned on 22nd)
23 (Wed) Clean-up and leave MI-LAB at 10am.
Transportation: Highway Bus (1 hour 45 minutes)
